SimpleFIN Bridge integration
Paste your SimpleFIN setup token once. BalVault handles the rest — fetching balances on your schedule via SimpleFIN's read-only API.
Adjustable fetch timer
Set the automatic refresh interval from 5 seconds to 120 seconds. BalVault polls in the background and updates your CSV.
Custom CSV path
Write balances to any location on your PC. Point it at your budget spreadsheet's import folder or a synced cloud directory.
Account data persists
Your SimpleFIN token and account list are stored in a local SQLite database. Restart the app — everything is right where you left it.
Keyboard shortcuts
Quick-refresh with a hotkey. Full keyboard navigation for power users who prefer to keep their hands off the mouse.
Offline-capable
Once your SimpleFIN token is set up, the app runs entirely on your machine. No internet required after token validation (though you'll need it for fresh balances).

Built for Windows. Lightweight (~50MB installed), no Electron bloat, no background services. Runs in the system tray.
No data leaves your PC
BalVault has zero network telemetry, zero analytics, zero phone-home. The only outbound connection is to SimpleFIN's API — and only when fetching balances.
